Bugiri Resident Wins UGX 186 Million Uganda National Lottery Jackpot

Nantamu Emmanuel of Bugiri District has won an incredible UGX 186 million from ITHUBA Uganda, the official operator of the Uganda National Lottery. Emmanuel’s winning ticket was placed through the quick pick option using the USSD code *278#, with a modest wager of UGX 1,000.

Emmanuel plans to use his winnings to further his education and build a home for his family, marking a life-changing moment for him.

Michelle Van Trotsenburg, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at ITHUBA Uganda, congratulated Emmanuel and encouraged Ugandans to continue participating in National Lottery games. Stephen Muneza, ITHUBA Uganda’s Public Relations Officer, highlighted the company’s 10-year license to operate and transform the National Lottery, aiming to bring prosperity to the nation.
