Uganda Airlines has inaugurated direct flights between Entebbe and Lusaka, strengthening bilateral relations between Uganda and Zambia. The airline will operate four weekly flights, marking a significant milestone in trade and tourism.
Zambia’s Acting Minister of Transport, Elvis Nkandu, welcomed the inaugural flight at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, highlighting the economic and people-to-people benefits. Nkandu emphasized Zambia’s commitment to becoming a regional aviation hub, supported by ongoing airport infrastructure upgrades.
Uganda’s Finance Minister Matia Kasaija hailed the flights as a step toward deeper African integration through commerce and cooperation.
