Dr. Patrice Motsepe, the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), is set to visit Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda this week, the three countries chosen to host the 2024 TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN).

His visit will commence in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Thursday morning, 19 December. The following day, on Friday, 20 December, Dr. Motsepe will travel to Nairobi, Kenya in the morning, followed by Kampala, Uganda in the afternoon, where he will conclude his tour.

During the visit, Dr. Motsepe will engage with government officials, football leaders, and representatives from the Local Organising Committees in each country. The tour will also include inspections of the stadiums and training facilities that are currently being upgraded in preparation for the tournament.

This visit follows the CAF delegation’s second inspection tour in November, during which they assessed various facilities, including stadiums, hotels, airports, and training sites, to ensure readiness for the competition.
