Dexta Daps is set to deliver an unforgettable performance for Ugandans at the highly anticipated Noise Nation concert on Saturday, December 14th, at Lugogo Cricket Oval. The Jamaican superstar, who arrived in Uganda on Wednesday, is excited for his first African performance, expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome he has received. “It’s been all love since I touched down, and on Saturday, I will give a performance to return the energy I’ve received,” said Dexta Daps during a press conference at Noni Vie.
The artist’s arrival was met with an energetic welcome, including a convoy of SafeBoda riders, dancers, rollerbladers, and flag-bearers. The Noise Nation experience, a celebration of Uganda’s vibrant culture, is being powered by Uganda Breweries’ Bell Citrus and Uganda Waragi Lemon and Ginger brands. Justin Agaba of Uganda Breweries emphasized that the concert would showcase Uganda’s rich heritage and innovation.
The event, organized in collaboration with Swangz Avenue and House of DJs, promises a sensory feast with art installations, food stalls, and a fashion spectacle. The stage will feature performances from top Ugandan artists, including Swangz Avenue All Stars like Azawi, Winnie Nwangi, John Blaq, and more.
Tickets for the event are available through the FlexiPay app, Mobile Money, and Quicket.com, with standard admission starting at UGX 200,000. Flash sales and giveaways are also ongoing as the Noise Nation concert approaches.
