Uganda Fun Factory is dedicating this year’s 5 Star Madness grand comedy show to Ugandan manufacturers. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
Richard Tuwangye, Director of Business Development for Fun Factory, revealed to Nexus Media that this year’s show will feature skits centered on manufacturers. Collaborating with the Uganda Manufacturers’ Association (UMA), they aim to deliver authentic, clean content tailored to their audience.

“We’ve invited manufacturers to experience how our unique brand of clean comedy can effectively position their products in a relatable way. It’s a chance to showcase how product placement can resonate with everyday life,” Tuwangye explained.
Tuwangye also noted that 5 Star Madness caters to middle-class Ugandans who can’t attend the weekly Thursday shows, promising three hours of comedy with surprise public figure appearances, like last year’s performance by Samson Kasumba.
Since its inception in 2016, 5 Star Madness has been held annually, except during the COVID-19 lockdown.
