South Sudan and Uganda will meet in the same group (B) during the qualifiers, which also includes Burundi and Ethiopia. Group A features hosts Tanzania, Sudan, Rwanda, Djibouti, and Kenya. Uganda will kick off their campaign against Ethiopia on October 7, face Burundi on October 9, and conclude the group stage with a showdown against South Sudan on October 11.
